COVER REVEAL: A SONG FOR THE END BY KIT POWER

We are honoured to bring you the cover reveal for A Song For The End, by Ginger Nut of Horror's alumni Kit Power,  published by always exceptional  Horrific Tales Publishing.  

Kit had this to say about the inspiration for his novella 

​A million years ago, in a galaxy far far away, I was being driven home by the guitar player in my band, from a dirty back room bar gig in a small town. As I looked out of the window at the darkness, my bandmate pushing his souped-up Mini maybe a little too hard through the country lanes, I floated in that post-gig euphoria and found myself tripping on what it would be like if music really did change the world, the way you felt it did while it was happening. And I imagined myself in Downing Street, flaming New Rock boots resting on the desk, fat cigar in my fist, telling then PM David Cameron to fuck off, because there was a new sheriff in town.
 
Obviously, that never happened. And obviously, quite a lot has happened since then. Not all of it good.
 
Anyhow. Like all good ideas, it festered, metastasized, until the desire to try and capture something of that feeling, that rage, that power and passion became too much.
 
And then I gave in and wrote.
 
Spoilers, I guess, but A Song For The End neither begins nor finishes with me in Downing Street, alas. But it is about truth, it is about lies, it is about consequences… and it is about taking a ridiculous idea seriously, at least for a while; what if the right song, at the right time, really could change the world?
