Derby’s Edge-Lit event is a perennial favourite on the genre fiction calendar, returning to QUAD this year for the seventh time and cramming a huge range of panels, workshops, readings, Q+As and much more into one day of horror, fantasy and sci-fi goodness! This year’s event promises plenty for horror fans, including the first UK visit of one of the genre’s most exciting new talents, Paul Tremblay. Paul is the author of the acclaimed A Head Full of Ghosts and Disappearance at Devil’s Rock, with his highly-anticipated novel The Cabin At The End of World coming out at the end of June. A Head Full of Ghosts is also currently in development by Focus Features, with Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, I Am The Pretty Things That Lives In The House) directing. Tremblay will be one of four exciting guests of honour, being joined by Costa Book Award winning author Frances Hardinge, bestselling historical and fantasy novelist Conn Iggulden and popular dystopian author Adrian J Walker. There’s plenty more fantastic horror and thriller content on the day, with panellists including Laura Purcell, GX Todd, Paul Kane, Marie O’Regan, Roz Watkins, Jo Jakeman, James Everington and many more! To check out all the latest information on the event, or to book your tickets, just drop by https://www.derbyquad.co.uk/events/edge-lit-7.aspx To celebrate the event, we’ve teamed up with Ginger Nuts of Horror to offer a fantastic horror and thriller book bundle, featuring titles from some of our Edge-Lit favourites past and present!
