THE ALIEN INVASION OWNERS RESISTANCE MANUAL
14/12/2014
In a Ginger Nuts of Horror first Alien Invasion - Owner Resistance Manual by Sean Page, is going to be reviewed not just by me but by my young protege and son Campbell. Sean Page hit gold dirt with his brilliant, original and informative book the Zombie Survival Manual. Those of you who are of a certain age will, like me remember your dad owning ones of those Haynes manuals that were both the operating manual and repair guide to whatever make of car he had. These were fascinating books full of informative diagrams, and all the information you would ever need to keep your old Morris Minor on the road. Sadly in this era of disposable culture these books fell out of favour, we are no longer a nation of tinkerers in the garage, or sheds of wonder are now homes to all manner of BBQ sets and rattan furniture. We need to reverse this trend we need to recapture the sense of tinkering, because we are losing the ability look after ourselves. You need this book read on to find out why. Some of you might say why do we need such a book? Well that is a simple question to answer, if you have seen the terrible film Battleship - "Set up a strong line of communication and destroy the enemies communication". In this era where most of our knowledge is all held in the delicate embrace of the internet, it wouldn't be that hard for an invading force to send us back to the dark age. That is why Sean's book is so important. It's no use having a survival shelter if we don't don't know how to survive and more importantly fight back. Packed with every last bit of information you could possibly for that time when our Alien Masters finally decide to reveal themselves and take over our lovely blue planet. I'll leave it you as whether or not I believe in the truth or not, but either way this is a brilliant book. Expertly researched and professionally put together, this is one of those books that crosses all genre boundaries, anyone who reads this book will get something out of it. What really helps this book is the subtle sense of tongue and cheek that pervades through it. The book could so easily have been a bit po-faced but Sean knows how to keep the "facts" and figures both informative and engaging. It's the nice little touches to the book that I particularly enjoyed such as the use of black highlighter to redact certain facts from the readers eyes. My son and I had great fun figuring out what the hidden truths were (hint if you get a strong light you make out the truth). And the scorch marks, grease spots and dirt marks just add to the reading experience of the book. So if you want to be able to tell you grays from your greens, or how exactly the law stands with regards to aliens, and more importantly how to make an anti mind probe alien mask then this is the book for you. This is one of those books that you buy as a gift for nearly anyone, they might squint and give you funny look initially but I guarantee once they crack open this book they will be hooked. Some say the day of the printed book is nearing, I say no it's not so long as they keep producing printed books like this. Campbell's Review I really liked the book it was amazing I learned lots of really interesting stuff in a fun way. I like the first thing you read which was The don't panic part and The do you believe survey. The do you believe in aliens part was cool. My favourite part of this was reading some of the things other people have said. I also liked the bit with all the sightings and what people believe they have encountered. I did not know that there was so many different alien myths. Never mind not knowing about all the different species of aliens. My favourite part is how to defend yourself from the aliens especially that crazy old lady she really does have some brilliant anti alien moves. I better start being nicer to old ladies I wouldn’t want them to beat me up like that. The freakiest part is the part that shows us that the Queen really is an alien. Thanks to this book I think that me and my dad could fight off an alien invasion, which is handy as I think my sister is an alien queen. With many of the world's top scientists now predicting that the Earth will be invaded by aliens within the next few decades, the battle to defend our planet from fiendish extra-terrestrials is no longer the realm of science fiction. UFO sightings and abduction cases continue to increase, with millions around the world now reporting that they have been held by aliens - everything is pointing to a day when we will be invaded by forces from beyond our Solar System. But don't panic - the Alien Invasion Manual has been designed to provide you with the very latest scientific insight and intelligence available on aliens and their plans to take over our gleaming blue planet. In true Haynes style, it aims to demonstrate how with the right knowledge, training and a substantial reel of aluminium foil, the concerned citizen can really hit ET where it hurts. You can protect your home and family from mind-bending abductions, you can ensure that you remain free of any sinister implants and you can determine which shape-shifting lizards are working to take over society. Accompanied by illustrations, maps, diagrams and step-by-step instructions, this resistance manual will be essential reading for those interested in protecting the planet from alien invaders * Discover the truth about aliens and how they have already infiltrated Earth * Learn the real story behind the Roswell crash, Area 51 and terrifying facts about alien abductions * Read about the alien species that threaten us - from the DNA-hungry Greys to the shape shifting Draconian reptiles * Become an Extra-terrestrial Prepper - trained and ready to defend our planet * Create an abduction 'safe room' in your home and learn how to fight alien invaders * A comprehensive analysis of alien invasion strategies and how humanity can defeat them * A complete blueprint to the defending of our Solar System * Plus hundreds of new uses for aluminium foil

The review by Campbell was very well done. We Americans need to know the information he provided us with concerning this book. He has applied the book to our everyday lives, especially with his mention of the Queen being an alien. 15/12/2014 15:05:17
Great review. Well, Jim mumbled through his bit but Campbell sold me. I shall be adding it to my christmas list along with a 10,000 watt floodlight to see what they REALLY said 16/12/2014 05:03:50
Excellent review from both Jim and Campbell - it's like the Stephen King/Joe Hill of reviewing. 16/12/2014 11:45:44
Great review from both of you. Best not rest on your laurels, Jim - the lad will be after your job soon.
