Ginger Nuts of Horror interviews Robin Bennett who is a rare literary beast in that he skilfully writes across different age groups and genres for children, something which is notoriously difficult and also dabbles with non-fiction for adults. Interestingly, Robin sees writing for the 7-10 age group as the toughest nut to crack! Much of this interview focuses on his fantasy/horror series “Small Vampires” which is a great read for slightly older kids and young teens. Robin is published by Monster Books and is one of the brains behind a successful independent publisher which is currently expanding and hopefully taking on new authors in 2017. So let’s meet Robin and find out what makes the man tick.
Michael Griffin's latest collection, The Lure of Devouring Light, has garnered a great deal of attention and deserved accolades from readers and critics alike, as well as from well-known authors such as Laird Barron and Michael Cisco. As Laird puts it he “…skillfully works the rich seams of quiet horror and contemporary weird”. And as it turns out, “skillfully” is an understatement. “Brilliantly” might be more apt. You can read my review of it over at Shotgun Logic. But before you head over there please read the interview between myself and Michael here on Ginger Nuts of Horror DEBORAH SHELDON

Deborah Sheldon is a writer living in Melbourne, Australia and has publishing credits in a string of anthologies and journals as well as novellas and novels that lurk in the darker area of fiction. I thought I would take some time to have a chat about her writing. I am particularly interested in hearing about her new bio-horror novel being published by Cohesion Press later on this year.
Ginger Nuts of Horror is proud to host an exclusive interview with Blaze Bayley, the man tasked with the impossible, who in their right mind would consider being the singer to replace Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden? Well Blaze did, read on for an enlightening interview with the man himself.
